Riding is not just for the boys. There are not many brands that really focus on women’s gear we are always an afterthought and we shouldn’t be.

What is your riding goal for 2019? Do you have a special race, are you organizing a group ride or learning a new skill?
My goals for the upcoming year are to work on my skills on technical terrain (step up, tight switch backs, jumps) I would like to complete an enduro race by my 40th birthday.
What can you do to encourage more women to ride and enjoy cycling?
I am consistently trying to motivate more women to ride especially in my local mtb community. Prior to covid we would have shop group rides in which I would lead out the beginners and help them along the way.
I like share my adventures and achievements on social media and soon YouTube. I’m always motivating my lady friends to try different things on the bike. I’m not a coach but I recently purchased a ramp and cones to practice our skills in a controlled environment as a group.
Why did you choose Moxie Cycling and Wicked Girl? What is your favorite thing about us?
I found Moxie through Wicked girls Instagram. The style of the clothing grabbed my attention. I was very interested in your line not just because of the empowerment for women but the clothes look amazing. Riding is not just for the boys. There are not many brands that really focus on women’s gear we are always an afterthought and we shouldn’t be.
(I’d also like to see a company making shoes as well. It so hard to fit a good pair of riding shoe especially when you have a small shoe size).
